Happy Hour and clothing donation drive

Our final happy hour at Blackfinn on April 18th is being co-sponsored by the VCU Business and Development Club.

The club wishes to congratulate the Fast-Track Class of 2008 on our final day with free hors devours and a ticket for one free beverage.

Please see note below from Hitesh Petal, Club President, about this event and the competition to collect gently used professional clothing for a local nonprofit.

I wanted to keep you in the loop about our final happy hour social event of the semester. The event is take place on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Black Finn Restaurant and Saloon. We will be offering food and one complimentary drink per person at the event again. We have co-sponsored the event with a similar organization at the University of Richmond ? the MBA Leadership Council. In addition, to this now being an intercollegiate informal social networking event we have decided to add a service component to the event. We will be collecting gently used professional clothing for a local nonprofit (Boaz & Ruth) that has as on main component of its mission to help prisoner?s reenter society through job training and employment. We will be having a competition between VCU and UR of who can bring the most clothing for donation. In addition, in all our promotional material and at the event itself we wanted to highlight/congratulate the Fast-Track Class of 2008 as it is the afternoon of their final class.

We hope that you will give us your support and try to get as many of your Fast-Track colleagues at the event as possible and please feel free to invite any business colleagues you may have in the Richmond community. Please let us know if there is any way we can help you with your future social networking event plans.
